Saints of the Knife

About

Seralyn corrected the world quietly.

Someone else chose chaos.

Years later, bodies surface along the south-east coast, staged, savage, and random. No pattern. No justice. Just blood and spectacle.

Three detectives hunt killers who worship a legend they don’t understand.

This time, violence has no rules.

And it won’t survive them.

Praise for this book

Ooo this was so good! I branched out away from romance with book 1 in this series and can safely say that I love a good crime thriller (I watch a lot of crime drama so it makes sense lol)
I loved One Body At A Time and as soon as I finished it, I knew I needed more.

Saints of the Knife is a brilliant novella read. The characters are dynamic, I love the coroner, Dr Evelyn Clarkson, she's so blunt with a bit of sass and fabulousness (with her colourful gloves). I'd describe her as a mix of Brennan from Bones, Isles from Rizzoli and Sherlock (the Benedict Cumberbatch version) with the style of Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds.

Kat and Tom are the perfect detective duo, they compliment each other but he wants it to make sense and needs order, where as she needs to understand the mindset of the killers rather than the reason.

This book is perfect if like me, you love crime drama and want to dip your toe into a new genre. Oh, and if you are into serial killer documentaries.

I'd love to see more from this series and hope the detectives will get more pages as I like the characters and think they need longer stories :)
